Advertising

We believe in working constructively with ad agencies!

In particular we enjoy working alongside our clients and their advertising teams to identify the best communication routes and consumer insights for their brands.
We have conducted a number of projects in print, radio and television that have enabled our clients to develop successful campaigns.

FMCG Categories

'FMCG' is a catch all that doesn’t accurately reflect the complexity of the different categories referred to.

Working closely with clients to gain advantage in this hugely competitive area is a feature of our experience. Categories we have particular experience in include:

· Soft Drinks
· Confectionery and Biscuit line extensions
· Alcoholic Beverages
· Household goods
· Savoury snacks
· Pet food

International

We have a wealth of experience in coordinating international studies founded on over 20 years combined experience.

We’re as happy to provide the UK section of a multi-country study as we are to lead international projects.

Our standards of excellence in this area are based on a simple premise - knowing the best people in each market. We know the best agencies and researchers abroad and nurture our relationships with them.

This approach provides the quality needed to deliver the best strategy for your brand in each market and at an overall level.

New Product Development

NPD is critical to the survival of most organisations. Research can ignite NPD ideas within client teams and help develop the products that lead to future growth. Research also has a key function in identifying those NPD ideas that are best not brought to market.

We have a wealth of experience in NPD across numerous categories.

Our workshop techniques are proven to create the very best environment for your NPD initiatives to thrive.

Packaging Design

We take a sense of pride in the packaging that we have helped to develop and the contribution this has made to successful brands.

Packaging development is one of our favourite areas. Understanding the response to a combination of colour, graphics, shapes and naming can be complex. Anybody can find it hard to say why they like a given design. In the face of this it’s easy to be glib.

Critical thinking and extrapolation is often required to identify the one packaging design that will leap off the shelf.

Technology/New Media

Being located in the city of Brighton and Hove we find ourselves surrounded by some of the strongest new media companies in the UK. So from the point of view of an immediate sample for business to business research in this field we are ideally placed.

We have conducted studies in the following new media areas:

· Mobile phones and mobile technology
· Digital cameras and imaging
· Website usability and branding
